Back from Survival Training Camp(STC) ..

20-22November2009 (my group 6 picture)

Hello Guys ! :)
ok..im back from 3days and two nights of camp ..
whoah..im having body aches right now..
*warning* don't touch me anywhere near my shoulders .. hehe ~
its where it aches alot..
well..ok..now lets get to what i did for camp..
first day,we assembled in school..went mc donald's with Nayake,Shi Yun and leonda to eat..eventually,i didn't bring any money..hmpph..so we shared fries and i shared coke with Nayake..
after that we took the bus to the Jetty..
was there later than other schools but we took the Jetty first :)
when we reach,we walked all the way to the camp side..it was raining too..so we wore poncho's ! :D
hot ? yeah .. ok.. not hot..but warm.. hahas~
most of us were complaining??excluding me plss... :D
when we reach there..we were spilt..
and my unit had only 5 sec 3's..pathetic huh??hahas~
so each one of us is split ti different group with other schools from area 9(east area)..
there was also area 20(east area) like my school,Unity sec sch and Regent sec sch..
however,there was no sec 3's unity sec sch..
so the east area was the most..
I was in group 6..Nayke in group 3..Leonda and Ricson in group 2..while Shi Yun was in group 1..
I love my group !:)
at first i was like..OMG ! no one in the east is in my group..all was from the east..
but well..i think i was wrong..they are sure friendly..they are enthusiastic and so :)
well..let me name my group members name..
there are 11 of us at first..but 1 join us on the second day..

ohya..our Group Instructor(GI) is Sir Chia Hao from Regent sec ...
ohya..so first day we just got into groups..eat...and bath..then we went into groups to plan our cheer..
after that we slept..it was damn freezing cold..and guess what??Leonda's bag got ants..big one's..
so we helped her :)
then the next day..we had Physical Training(PT) and flag raising..
then we eat our breakfast..but before that,we did brush our teeth :)
then we went for Basic Survival Skills(BSS)..we learn Water,Fire,Food and Shelter is important for survival..
basically..fire need oxygen,fuel and heat to light up..
water can be clean by using simple distillation or this one pill that is sold to clean water..you can also boil the water in te mass tin,put a towel or cloth above it..wait until the towel or cloth is wet and then you can put it away..*note* make sure towel or cloth is not to wet as it can contaminate the water..
and in order to take water from the river,we have to submerge the water bottle horizontally..
the mouth peace should be half touch to the water..ohya..also...water can be detect by its sound or by animals..
then for food and shelter..we use poncho's to build a tent and hunt animals for food..insects too..e.g fishing..and to open a can without a can opener..you can leave it on a flat surface and rub the top..eventually it will open a little..so we must use something to open it widely..
yeah..
after that,we went for high elements:)
whoah..i did the what what is that call also i don't n0e..hahas~
but i was damn tired..
there was three of it..
and we can only choose one..
there's the simplest,simpler and simple..so i went for the simple..hahas~
and now,my body aches:(
but nvm..ENDURANCE ! :)
hahas~
after that,we went to the dark tunnel..cool !:)
hahas~
got this instructor which i dunt know his name..but it starts with S.its like sir suhari or something..
he was Sir Afiq's batch..he recognises teck whye's p.e shirt..wow..impressive..hahas~
well..there were jokes of course :)
hahas~
after all that,we change into our dark shirts..
going for JEtty jump tat is..
whoah..I DID IT ! :) achievement..hahas~
manage to overcome my fear that is:)
hehe~
then we bath and eat..
met some other new people from other groups like Michelle,Nazirah,DAVID ! hahass~
Guane,Luke,HL and some more..
can't really remeber their name..hmpph..sorry..
then after that,we had camp songs and performances during CAMPFIRE ! :)
but too bad it was raining..so we did it inside door..
after that,we went for super..hahas~
there was one part where we did lower flag raising and it rain..we were to stand there as there was people from HQ who are filming us that is..
well..ohya..and Ee Ren kind of miss all the fun activities since he had open house..wasted right..
so after all that..we went to sleep..
then the third day arrived..everyone was happy to go home for sure..but it was fun being with them..gonna miss them !! :D
so third day,we had pt again..breakfast..and area cleaning..my group clean the kitchen:D
then we walk around and pick up litters as a group..hahas~
we also had group photo's and unit pictures..
so we had to say a goodbye..
oh well..hoping that we can meet again..

ok then..till here..
